Evaluation identified water penetration at this location, and a single section of decking was cut out and removed, exposing framing, insulation, and the ceiling cavity below. A new panel was set into the opening over the underlayment, then the area was reshingled to match the surrounding field. The completed slope was photographed from the ladder and from grade.
