McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte, NC

McAlpine Creek Park is a hidden gem in Charlotte, NC and one of the most underrated parks in the area. It’s also one of the largest park areas we have available to us on this side of town. McAlpine Creek Park is located at 3100 McAlpine Rd, Charlotte, NC 28214 and was constructed as an urban nature preserve with lots of hiking trails for those who like to explore more than just what you can see from inside your car window. McAlpine Creek Park is a hidden gem in Charlotte, NC and one of our favorite places to take visitors because it has so many different things going on. Charlotte, NC can be seen here.

It’s also one of the largest park areas we have available to us on this side of town. McAlpine Creek Park is located at the intersection of Providence and McAlpine Roads, and it features a playground, walking trails, basketball courts, and more. There’s also a little bit of history tucked away in the park- if you walk far enough down the trail, you’ll find an old mill that was used back in the 1800s.
